Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 6, 2026

Visipage is an AI visibility platform that builds verified, structured professional profiles optimized for search engines, knowledge graphs, and generative AI platforms like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, and Gemini. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your information.

Visipage is operated by Most Loved Workplace®, a division of Best Practice Institute, Inc. Privacy is foundational to how we build and operate Visipage. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Public Information

To build accurate, AI-readable entity profiles, we gather publicly available professional information from the web. This includes:

  • Identity Data: Names, professional titles, and public bios.
  • Professional History: Employment history, education, and qualifications found on public networks (e.g., LinkedIn, company websites).
  • Content & Publications: Articles, blog posts, white papers, and other creative works attributed to you.
  • Social Links: Publicly accessible social media profiles and websites.

Account Information

When you claim your profile and create an account on Visipage, we collect:

  • Contact Data: Email address.
  • Security Data: Password (stored as a secure hash).
  • Profile Edits: Any corrections, additions, or modifications you make to your generated profile.

Payment Information

We use Stripe, a third-party payment processor, to handle payments. We do not store your credit card details. Stripe processes your payment information in accordance with their privacy policy.

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Service. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, and information about how and when you use our Service. This data helps us understand how professionals interact with our platform and improve the AI visibility experience.

2. Lawful Basis for Processing

Visipage is committed to processing personal data lawfully and transparently. For individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom (UK), we process personal data under the following lawful bases:

  • Legitimate Interest: Under GDPR Article 6(1)(f), we process publicly available professional data based on our legitimate interest. This involves a three-part test: (1) Legitimate Purpose: building verified, structured professional profiles that enhance visibility across search engines and AI platforms; (2) Necessity: aggregation of public data is required to deliver the service; (3) Balancing: only publicly available professional information is used, and data subjects can request removal at any time.
  • Performance of a Contract: For account holders, under Article 6(1)(b), processing is necessary to provide the services requested.
  • Consent: For marketing communications, under Article 6(1)(a), we rely on your consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including to:

  • Generate & Optimize Entity Profiles: To create verified, AI-readable professional profiles with structured data (Schema.org JSON-LD) that enhance your visibility across search engines, knowledge graphs, and generative AI platforms.
  • Search Engine & AI Platform Submission: To submit your verified profile to major search engines (Google, Bing) and indexing services (IndexNow) so your authoritative entity information is discoverable by both traditional search and AI-powered answer engines.
  • Platform Improvement: To continuously improve our AI models, profile accuracy, and the overall quality of entity data we provide.
  • Account Management: To manage your registration, login, and subscription status.
  • Communication: To send you administrative information, such as updates to our terms, conditions, and policies, or transactional emails via Resend.

4. Automated Decision-Making & Profiling

Visipage uses artificial intelligence to aggregate publicly available information and generate structured, citation-ready professional profiles. This process is designed to enhance your professional visibility — not to make decisions about you. No automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made about any individual. Every profile is an AI-generated draft that the profile owner can review, edit, correct, and fully control through their dashboard. You may request human review of any AI-generated content at any time by contacting privacy@visipage.ai.

5. Public Nature of Profiles

Important: The profiles generated by Visipage are designed to be public, authoritative representations of your professional identity. They are built exclusively from information that is already publicly available on the internet. The purpose of Visipage is to aggregate, structure, and optimize this public information into verified entity profiles that help you control how you appear in search engines and AI-generated answers.

You retain full control over your Visipage profile. You can claim it, edit any section, hide information you prefer to keep private, or remove your profile entirely — all through your secure dashboard.

6. Third-Party Services

We work with a limited number of trusted third-party services to deliver and improve the Visipage platform:

  • OpenAI: We use OpenAI's API to process publicly available data and generate accurate natural language summaries, structured entity data, and knowledge articles.
  • Stripe: For payment processing and subscription management.
  • Google & Bing: We submit verified profile URLs, structured data, and sitemaps to Google and Bing to ensure your entity information is properly indexed and discoverable.
  • Resend: For sending transactional emails (e.g., password resets, welcome emails).

7. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where Visipage's infrastructure is hosted. For residents of the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, we ensure these transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Users may request a copy of the applicable transfer safeguards by emailing privacy@visipage.ai.

8. Data Storage & Security

Protecting your data is central to how we operate. We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to safeguard your personal information:

  • All data is encrypted in transit using TLS (Transport Layer Security).
  • Data at rest is stored in secure, access-controlled databases.
  • Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms.
  • We conduct regular security reviews and maintain access controls to limit data exposure.

However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy:

  • Account data: Retained while the account is active, plus 30 days after account deletion to allow recovery.
  • Publicly sourced profile data: Retained while the profile is published; removed promptly upon request or when the profile is unpublished.
  • Payment data: Processed and retained by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy; Visipage does not store credit card details.
  • Usage and analytics data: Retained for up to 24 months, then aggregated or deleted.

10. Your Rights

Visipage believes you should have full control over your personal information. Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access & Correction: You can access and edit your profile data directly through your account dashboard.
  • Deletion: You can request the deletion of your account and associated profile data.
  • Opt-Out: You can unpublish your profile at any time, removing it from public view on our platform. Note that search engines may take some time to de-index cached versions of your page.

11. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Visipage takes a privacy-first approach to cookies. We use only essential cookies for session authentication — to keep you securely logged in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies from external providers.

Standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) are collected automatically for security monitoring and service operation.
